June 1st, 2024 Expository Bible Study of the Years of Creation 5880 years (Anno Mundi) to the Earth Being Returned to its Owner The Children of the Promise.
Who told us that? YHWH in Genesis 6:3, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be 120 years.”
Did YHWH really tell us that the days of man will be 120 years?
No.
In fact, after Noah’s flood, by the time of King David, who died at age 70, life expectancy decreased similar to what it is today.
In Genesis 6:3, the Heavenly Father stated that man’s days will be 120 shanay, and NOT 120 years.
The Hebrew word “shanay” means a repeating cycle, for example, the Jubilee cycle repeats. The days, weeks, months, seasons, years, and Jubilees repeat exactly in a cyclical pattern.
120 years of Jubilees are equal to 5880 years from creation, also called Anno Mundi (AM), which corresponds to the year 2038 AD (Anno Domini) or Common Era (CE). Anno Mundi is from the Latin, “the year of the world.”
What is a complete cycle of Jubilee years?
A complete cycle of Jubilee years is 49 years, and where the 50th year is also counted as year 1 of the next cycle of 49 years.
Counting from creation, in what year are we today?
We will get to the answer step by step and according to the scriptures. Be patient because we need to briefly explain YHWH’s calendar and 2 of His Feasts, which are relevant to understand the answer.
According to the Fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Book of Enoch, and the Book of Jubilees, we read that the calendar of YHWH is of 364 days for His Feasts to occur on the same days of the month and the same days of the week.
We read in scriptures, according to Enoch 72:6-8 and verses 31-33, that the first day of the first month of the New Year starts on the day after the Spring Equinox with the spring Equinox being day 365.25 since it still takes 365.25 days for the sun to rise and set to finally complete its circuit.
According to Genesis 1:14, the sun was created on the 4th day of the week, therefore, we understand that its circuit started on that 4th day, and its completion is 365.25 days. Thus, the 1st day of the New Year needs to start on the 4th day of the week too.
However, no matter when you start the first day of the first month of the New Year, the final 120th Jubilee will change by only a few days.
In Exodus 12:2 YHWH said to Moses, “This is the 1st month of the year,” and according to His instructions, the 14th day of the same month (Leviticus 23:5) was the Passover night meal which ended early the next day, before morning, when on the 15th day of that same month, the 1st day of the Feast of the Unleavened Bread started (Leviticus 23:6).
The 1st day of the New Year always started on the 4th day of the week, then the 1st day of the Unleavened Bread starts too and always on the 4th day of the week (not to be confused with Gregorian Wednesday); thus, the 1st day of the Unleavened Bread is on the 4th day of the week, and on the 15th day of the month.
In Exodus 12:10 we read that the leftover of the lamb meal was forbidden to be eaten the next day, but it had to be burned.
Exodus 12:10, “Do not leave any of it until morning; BEFORE THE MORNING you must burn up any part that is left over.”
Again, on the 14th of the 1st month, the lamb was killed and then cooked in the evening, but it was eaten at night. On the next day in the morning, it was the day 15th of the 1st day of the Unleavened Bread (Leviticus 23:6).
In Joshua 4:19, it was the 10th day of the first month (approx. Gregorian end March/beginning of April) when the Israelites entered the Promised Land east of Jericho as we read in verse 19 “Now the people came up from the Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and they camped in Gilgal on the east border of Jericho.”
Shortly after, on the 14th of the 1st month, they celebrated the Passover, Joshua 5:10 “Now, the children of Israel camped in Gilgal and kept the Passover on the 14th day of the first month (Gregorian April 2nd or 3rd) at twilight on the plains of Jericho.”
In Jubilee chapter 50:4, YHWH says that it was the 50th Jubilee when Joshua led the Israelites into Canaan.
YHWY said to Moses, “4 Wherefore I have ordained for you the year-weeks and the years and the jubilees: there are 49 jubilees from the days of Adam until this day, [2410 Anno Mundi] and 1 week and 2 years: and there are yet 40 years to come [2450 years Anno Mundi] for learning the commandments, until they pass over into the land of Canaan, crossing the Jordan to the west.”
1 week (being 1 week = 7 years) and 2 years = 7+2= 9 years 9 years + 40 years to come = 49 years = 1 complete Jubilee 49 jubilees + 1 more complete Jubilee = 50 Jubilees
50 jubilees × 49 years = 2450 years
2450 minus 40 years of the Israelites in the wilderness and before they enter Canaan is equal to 2410 years Anno Mundi or from creation.
2410 years from creation is when the Israelites came out of Egypt led by Moses.
In 1 Kings 6:1, we read that there were 480 years from the exit of the Israelites coming out of Egypt to the start of the construction of the First Temple of Solomon in the 4th year of his kingdom.
2410 (exit from Egypt) + 480 years to the start of Solomon’s Temple = to 2890 years from creation.
Since the construction started in the 4th year of Solomon’s reign, and he reigned a total of 40 years (1Kings 11:42), we add the rest of his 36 years of reigning to 2890; 2890 + 36 = 2926 years from creation.
After the death of Solomon, there are a total of 393 years and 6 months of all the reigning years of the kings of Judah until the last king of Judah, King Zedekiah goes to exile in Babylon.
King Zedekiah reigned for 11 years and was taken to Babylon in the 19th year of King Nebuchadnezzar when the Temple of Solomon, his palace, and all the houses in Jerusalem were burned as we read in 2 Kings 25:7-9, and when the rest of the people of Judah were finally all carried away to Babylon (2 kings 25:21).
So, we add 393.5 to 2926= 3319.5 years from creation.
The Israelites went to captivity in Babylon for 70 years, according to Jeremiah 25:11-12. So, we add 70 to 3319.5 = 3389.5 years.
Daniel 9:25-27 says that from the command to rebuild the second Temple until Messiah is cut off, “There shall be seven weeks and sixty two weeks” = 69 weeks total (7+62).
69×7 = 483 years (with 7 weeks equal to 7 years).
We add 483 to 3389 = 3872 A.M., the years from creation, and corresponding to the year 28 A.D.
We believe that Yahshua died in the year 30 AD according to the following records: “The crimson thread tied to the scapegoat” on Yom Kippur did not turn white for 40 years right up to the destruction of the second Temple in 70 A.D as we read in the Talmud, and specifically, the “ONE FOR ISRAEL Ministry” notes that the Talmud in Tractate Yoma 39b records this event. This Talmudic statement is attributed to Rabbis, and it states that for the last 40 years right to the destruction of the 2nd Temple, the scarlet thread did not become white. Tuvia Pollack’s blog notes that this same information is found in the Talmud.
Testament of Naphtaly chapter 4:5-6 thread on scapegoat was for a sign and remembrance.
Reference to the crimson thread is in Isaiah 1:18 “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be a no s wool.”
Possibly, the year-after-year event of the scarlet thread that changed to white was not necessary anymore since Yahshua’s sacrifice cleansed the sins of those who believed in Him, and He changed them from scarlet to white as snow, Isaiah 1:18.
Please note that we are not stating that Yahshua’s sacrifice is an opportunity to continue to sin, Hebrews 10:26-31.
From the time of the Temple’s destruction in 70 AD, we subtract the 40 years of the scarlet thread that didn’t change into white. 70 – 40 = 30, which is the year when Yahshua died as the Lamb sacrificed.
From the present year 2025, we subtract 30 years (Yahshua’s death in 30 AD.) 2025 – 30 = 1995 Then, we add 1995 years to the 3872 creation years = 5867 from creation.
In the year 2025 C.E., we are in the 5867th Anno Mundi and 5867 years from creation.
From 5880 (120 Jubilees), we subtract 5867, which is equal to 13 years left to the final 120th Jubilee.
The year 2025 +13 years is equal to the year 2038, which is the year of the Last Jubilee when the earth goes back to its owner, YHWH.
Note: The Heavenly Father counts in sevens and not in tens as we have been taught.
The Greek word 1000 in 2 Peter 3:8-9 is χίλιοι (khil’-ee-oy) which in addition to our English translation “a thousand,” means a complete period, or a complete or a perfect quantity, as it is the meaning of the Hebrew word shanay. Keep in mind that the Greek scribe translated the best he could, but not with a Hebrew mindset
In addition, here’s another way to obtain confirmation of the Return of Messiah in 2037-2038, where 2038 is the year of the establishment of His Kingdom on Earth ruling from Jerusalem. The year 2038 will be the first year of the 7th day in the Macro version of The Creation Week.
For example, 120 Jubilees (Genesis 6:3) divided by 6 days of work (Exodus 23:12) are equal to 20 Jubilees per day, which means
20 ×49 years = 980 years 980 ×6= 5880
120 x49=5880 5880 years Anno Mundi = the year 2038 CE. 1 day equals 980 years is the macro version of 1 day equals 18 parts (Enoch 72:32).
Prophecy of the year 2038
Romans 9:9, “For this is the word of promise: “At this time I will return and Sarah shall have a son” (Isaac).
2nd layer of the promise: Galatians 4:28 “You brethren are as Isaac. “
Yahshua returns when Israel is 90 years old, just like Isaac was born when Sarah was 90 years old, fulfilling the promise that God made to Abraham.
Galatians 4:27, Paul compares Isaac’s birth to the rebirth of Israel as one nation. This is a reference to Isaiah 54. This chapter is referred to as “The Fertility of Zion”
The rebirth of the nation of Israel in 1948: Yahshua cursed the fig tree symbolizing Israel which dried up in ONE DAY. Isaiah 66:8, A nation is born in ONE DAY.
However, when Israel, now 79, is 90 years old in 2038, she will be fully restored with the return of the Messiah Yahshua, who will establish His Kingdom according to Yah’s fulfillment, just as Isaac was the fulfillment of His promise.
120 Jubilees are equal to 5880 years from creation or Anno Mundi is the year 2038 C.E. or A.D. 2038 -1948 = 90 years (the age of Israel from the rebirth).
To be noted that there are two different perspectives on the interpretation of Isaiah 66:8. Some believe that the establishment of the State of Israel on May 14, 1948, after nearly 2000 years of exile, was the fulfillment of the prophecy of Isaiah 66:8, where we read “Can a land be born in one day? Can a nation be brought forth all at once?”
Others believe that the rebirth of the nation of Israel was a man-made attempt to fulfill the prophecy, just as Sarah who, in her effort, tried to bring about the promised son through her maid Hagar who gave birth to Ishmael.
Both sides believe also in the future restoration of Israel when Yahshua Messiah returns to establish His Kingdom on Earth.
Whether you see the rebirth of Israel in 1948 as prophetic fulfillment or a man-made attempt to fulfill prophecy, the fact remains that it did happen. YHWH is sovereign, therefore He has supreme power over all things, and nothing happens outside of His control because He governs the universe according to His will. He is the final authority.
